Cardiff’s leading security companies Safestyle Security, is sponsoring Cardiff City Ladies Football Club Under 14’s development side.
Safestyle Security ’s donation of £500 has provided the team with a new kit and will contribute towards the cost of their training facilities and matches.
In addition, the donation has been matched by the Sports Council of Wales Sportsmatch Cymru scheme, an Assembly-funded pound for pound business incentive scheme, aimed at encouraging commercial sponsorship into grass roots sport. The scheme will see Safestyles Security’s contribution doubled to £1,000.
Cardiff City Ladies Football Club now runs four junior and two women’s teams and was recently awarded silver status for the Football Association of Wales’ Club Accreditation Scheme.
Safestyles Security’s Company Director Darren Edwards, comments: “We are always delighted when we are given the opportunity to put something back into the local community. We were really inspired by the success of the junior development within this progressive club, and hope that our sponsorship will allow that success to continue in the future.”
Under 14’s coach Steve Wooten says: “This sponsorship deal is a massive boost for our section of the club. It’s a fantastic encouragement for the girls to know that they are being supported by a well-known local company, who appreciate the progress we are making within our junior development programme.”
